Aluminium trihydrate (also known as ATH and aluminium trihydroxide, chemical formula Al (OH)3) is initially derived from bauxite ore, before being refined into a fine white powder.

Available in different grades, Alumina Trihydrate is used as a suitable vulcanizing agent and curing factor in rubber processing unit. This chemical is also used to produce titanium dioxide based pigment. It possesses high smoke extinguishing attributes that have made it ideal fire retardant material. Free form toxic content, this chemical is used as an indispensable part of PVC and PU cables and wires for its smoke prevention capacity. Alumina Trihydrate is available in fine powder or coarse granular form with having particle size of 1.5 micron to 150 micron.
